Life At Match.com

As a new employee of IAC, I have been blown away by the perks Match.com offers us. Scooters around the office, catered lunch and much much more. We enjoy a 90s dot com culture and management that understands that the company IS its people. With a cast and crew of serious propeller-heads like myself, it is easy to understand why IAC and Match.com have been so successful.

Okay Adobe, give us cfscript or give us death. Had enough with big tag enhancements vs. continuously overlooked cfscript equivalents? Post your opinion.

HTML Email..Does it suck?

While there are RFCs that dictate embedding standards of HTML in email, there are none that dictate what content should and should not be included in HTML email. RFC(s) of this sort could guide email server software manufactures as to what email content to accept via POP3 and what to drop. Unfortunately, the lack of guidelines in this case has given way to a wide variety of script hacks (usually affecting Microsoft email clients) that has created the virus and spam bombardment that the Internet is today. As a system admin, I have always thought HTML email should be dropped like a bad habit. Give us your opinion!
